Beach or mountains? Which do you prefer? Why?

Growing up on Long Island, NY , you’re surrounded by beach and can go every day all year long. Yes, even in winter. My parents would plan summer vacations to Upstate NY in order to “ escape from the everyday “

Today, I live in the Piedmont region of Georgia where I can hike mountains on the weekends and plan summer vacations to , where else?, the beach.

Both places allow you to clear your mind and take in nature’s beauty .

As we get older, we may lean more toward the beach since it wouldn’t take the physical toll on us as hiking or climbing a mountain.
