Plan the week’s menu with what you have in your fridge and pantry.

Saturday or Sunday is a big cooking day. Prepare dishes and/or desserts to be eaten during the week.

Grocery Shopping once a week ( usually on Friday)

Only purchase what’s on the list. Have coupons. Use apps like Ibotta and fetch.- savings from these apps go into a bank account, used to pay bills or go toward gift cards first future use.

Clothing- I organize my closet based on weekly work wardrobe. I have a Stitch Fix account where I receive some clothing every 3 months. Clothes require quality and I won’t skimp.

Large items – shop around for quality at a reasonable price. This would pertain to furniture, large appliances, cars. Take good care of them. Keep up maintenance so you can keep them for and long time.

Extra money at the end of the week?

Sure. Some goes into a savings account ( always pay yourself first). Use for a movie, a mani/pedi ( treat yourself). Put it toward a goal ( trip, car, hobby) My goals involve a new computer and a camera .

This all takes discipline. It’s not always easy, but if you stay disciplined, it’s very rewarding.
