How I Spend my Summer Vacation

It’s almost 2 years later, and we’re still “ moving”

Hedges no longer overgrown to the roof. Day Lillie’s welcome visitors to the front door and zinnia stand at attention in front of the amaryllis. The red mulch also makes the landscape pop.

The backyard is the next big project. That back area is inundated with ivy ( my arm is red and itchy ) and we need to cut two trees down for safety.

Not too successful with seed planting, but my herbs are flourishing.

Stay tuned. Hopefully the rest of the back will be cleared out and a raised bed will be installed. The goal is to have it done before I return to work in a month.
